JCW Intake - Installed

Last Thursday my JCW Intake arrived from Helix. Today was the first day I had time to install it. Only problem encountered was the wire splice they supply is a little too big for the size of wire. Using a ScotchLok would have been a cleaner install.

Went for test drive. Hard to tell by the seat of the pants if it's stronger, but it sure whines above 4500 rpms if you have the window down. With the windows up it's not really any louder inside.

Anyway I'm pleased with the intake and the price and service from Helix was great.

Did you put the supplied 'bung' which blocks the airflow from the cowl into the lower part of the case as instructed by the directions? If yes, swap it back for the orginal open bellows to get that airflow back. It makes a difference in airflow, for the better, IMHO. Once you use their new bellows with the block in place you actually have less airflow then stock up to when the flap opens at 4,500 rpm.
