CEL after HAI install

So I threw a CEL tonight. Here's how it goes, started off the day with putting the hot air intake on. ran some quick errands, felt really good. Did a lot of driving tonight ~150 miles..it felt awesome, sounds good, runs strong..then one of the times I took it up to close to rev limiter and the DSC light came on and stayed on, couldn't get that off till I turned off the car and started it again. Strange right? It did that another time later in the evening, then a little bit later it threw a CEL. I don't have a scanner but my car is going into the dealer on monday for warranty control arm bushings. I am gonna try to get it scanned tomorrow if it is still on. Anyone know what might be the cause?

I am boosting at 1.3bar (~18.8psi) today, before the hot air intake I would barely touch 1.24bar (~18psi).

The DSC light at >18psi is normal. It's from exceeding the range of the MAP sensor.

I had a the CEL light and went into limp-home mode a couple of times on the freeway caused by my HAI.
It wasn't sealed to the throttle body properly all the way round. Allowing air in past the filter confused the airflow sensor and it shut me down. Both times it happened, I was on the freeway, in a high gear and had just floored the accelerator. Pulling over, turning off and re-starting the car got me out of limp home mode, but it took about 5 or 6 power cycles to get rid of the CEL.
Good luck.

Good luck, I hope this turns out well for you. Sounds like a good reason for me to get one of Webb's HDI kits.
