Drivetrain other intakes??!!
has anyone tried the Monster MINI intakes on their car? it looks like the K&N a little but without the heat shielding. any comments? anyone Randy, you out there?
i always liked ABD products for VWs and was hoping that their reputations would proceed them into the MINI performance market too.

The Monster intake is very similar in design to the K&N.
The issues are:
No heat shield
Aluminum intake replacement, which looks really cool, improves flow, but also has a higher heat conducivity
It will still make a gain over the stock system, but not as much as the Rogue.
Let me know if you have any other questions about the system. I think I've talked about it before, so if you do a search on the Moster with RandyBMC as an author, you should get some more info.

>>The Mini-Madness and Rogue look remarkably alike... in fact, exactly the same, are they?
Yep. That's pretty common in the aftermarket world. Turner, Madness, Rogue, MINI-Motorsport, and probably a few others - all sell the intake.
