Drivetrain Reset Computer?

Reset Computer?
Is it nessary to reset computer by disconecting battery after installing a High Performance Exhaust in order to reap the bennifits of that exhaust?

I don't think it's necessary. And for a exhaust, you won't see any benefits from resetting the ECU.
Volker from MTH states that the only wait to reset the ECU learning features is from the dealer's computer.

if not to gain power, you will need to reset the maps to get the same MPG.
after i out my exhaust on i dropped from about 22 to around 17-18 mpg until i reset the computer.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I've been told by Volker that the trip button methos (test 21) only reset the gauges...
But disconnecting the battery might reset the learning features on the ECU...??
