Ouch. They look superb but that's a hefty price for that sort of thing. Not that I'm not considering it.

I wonder if these stick out further than the OEM tips on an MCS without the aero kit rear bumper..?

They are a good inch longer. They would stick out some without the aero package.

The JCW tips won't fit. You would have to do some mods.

Could some tell me the outer diameter of the exhaust tips and perhaps some more photos?

Shawn, I have a question. Are the tips straight or slash cut? The picture from realoem.com looks like they are slash cut but in your pictures they look like a straight cut.

Hey Partsman109, nice license plate and license frame! What part of SC do you live? And thanks for the info on the tips. I really don't like the factory ones at all.

The tips are not slash cut. I will take some closer pictures today.

Nice...the OEM tips look too small even though they appear to be the same I.D....they give a more aggressive look kind of like my Scorpion

The do look more aggressive! I think its a bit funny that they are an illusion of sorts, trying to look like a 2" tip but actually it's just a dark metal portion surrounding the actual exhaust. Does it change the sound of the exhaust at all?

When I had them installed the black part was actually light grey. I masked them off and sprayed the inside flat black using some heat resistant paint.
I think they look much better that way on my car.
I don't think they change the exhaust note.

FYI - the OEM tips are each held on by one 3mm allen bolt.

Looks superb Shawn. Well done.

Sweet ride all round too IMO. If I was ordering a new MINI now it would be PW/PW with anthracite R99s too I reckon.

I just saw them the other day at my dealer ship - they look great. I thought it was an aftermarket exhaust.
