I'll worsen the confusion. The UUC fw is really a rebadged Spec fw.
There are many threads discussing fws but I'll give you the short version:
PRO: better throttle response, quicker spool-up of motor
CON: noisy, harder to launch
Figure 8 hours of labor (subframe needs to be dropped) and you might as well add a clutch since it doesn't add to labor costs.

In my opinion, the only way to really take advantage of the lightened flywheel is to have the whole reciprocating assembly re-balanced.
I've installed and used Both the Spec and the M7 flywheels. With the Spec stage 3 clutch on both as well. If wondering i Stripped the Ring gear on the Spec Flywheel is why it was replaced.
Spec VS M7
Cons: (Spec) Noisey .. Very Noisey, a bit harder to launch on 03 tranny especially if you still have the Heavy Stock Wheels and tires. If moving to a Set of Lightwieght Wheels and Tires at the same time. Very little difference is felt.
Pros: (M7) no clacking noise at idle. Easier to launch. (Had many many people stall the car with the Spec FW. but only 1 or 2 when the M7 was in), But to me since I was use to Light wieght flywheels in cars I really never had the problem and couldn't tell that much of a difference.
Pro or Con: Depending on driving style and usage. Its true that a lighter Flywheel gives quicker Acceleration, But its also true that it will give Quicker or more abrupt Deceleration if you just let off the gas or hit the brake without putting in the clutch. For dry conditions its more of a benifit to have lighter rotating mass., but for slick wet/icey conditions the smoother and less violent tranfers are perfered of the heavier Flywheels.
the "Pro or Con" is my opinion from Racing Sprint Cars and riding Dirt bikes where I could change the Flywheel in about 45 mins or less.

Yes and was also as an asumption causing RF noise as well. I say this simply because after I put in new M7 flywheel in the radio noise ive been tring to get rid of for a long time now is no longer there. I do recall a little gear chatter but since I run a loud exhaust and Stereo (1600 watts). Its not something i was listening for. I did have to run the stereo a bit loud just so i couldnt hear the RF noise
