There's some unresolved weirdness about the figures and plots provided by Hartge. Their stock and modded torque curves both look different from any others that I have seen. It looks like their torque curve is actually an acceleration curve for the car on the road, since it slopes downwards. Also, they show the stock engine going to 7300 rpm, which is simply not possible since the stock rev limiter ends the fun at 6950 rpm. Has any customer done a before and after dyno?
I have the Hartge conversion my report can be seen here
..
My Hartge Report on Evo Forum
The ecu settings have been modified to provide the correct fuelling required and they also change up the rev limit by 500revs..the conversion also includes a modified supercharger housing and pulley assembly.
The transformation is amazing, from 5,000 rpm it just takes off, pulls and pulls to the rev limit..I used to drive a TVR Cerbera that had 360hp and can entirely believe that the Hartge conversion produces 210hp. So much faster than the standard Cooper S. Shame the Brakes as standard pretty poor IMO will get them uprated asap.
Oh 1 year unlimited mileage warranty
I'm off to a trackday tomorrow via a uk company www.bookatrack.com Donington Park circuit.
I intend to get some vids and post them on my site htttp://www.angrybeats.co.uk, should have them on there by Tuesday

OMG, I don't usually get annoyed or irritated, but so some searches for goodness sake. This has only been asked about 25 times in the last frew months, and there's a thread currently in the WHEEL AND TIRE forum about this (where you should be looking anyways...wait no you should PM him). He has the Hamann 17" wheels. That should get you started. And SMG, to stop the constant barrage of questions, can you please just put that info in your profile??!
(I'm in a pissy mood. Valentines day sucks)

Whoops, I meant to say "sig" not "profile." The info wasn't in his sigfor a while though. But that makes Mini-Matt's comment even worse. Read! Literacy is your friend!

>>What is the possibility of getting one here in the US... I really want one. with the mid 5 second 0-60 and huge power increase nothing could be better except for maybee a set of brembo brakes.
Mid 5-seconds? Where are you getting this info?? ALL the numbers that I've heard for 0-60 for the Hartge MCS have been at least a second higher than yours.

with the mid 5 second 0-60
Best time I've seen is 6.6 0-60 which is only a half second faster than stock MCS...the real bang for the buck sounds like at the top end above 6000 rpms...BMW version sounds pretty pricey when it hits the market....
