Fireball Tim Racing MCS at SEMA
I met Fireball Tim, TWINCHARGEDMINI (Hubie), Detlman (Brian) and El Diablito Rojo (Jan) at SEMA last week and want to thank them for taking the time to talk and bench race, etc. Great group of guys. Anyway, here are some pics I snapped of their race car:

Thanks for posting those pics Andy. I wish I could've gone but I only get so many days off from work each school year.
I see they have a different motor-mount now.

You might reconsider that, unless you don't mind having your . . . uh . . . family jewels plopped over a bottle of nitrous!

We also met Fireball Tim and Hubie at SEMA. Had a nice, long conversation about the car, the MINI community and various other things. Very nice guys. Played around with the car a litte including the CF doors which are pretty darn nice.

One gets used the "normal" weight of the MINI's doors (hood and trunk included) and the feel of it in one's hand. The brain kind of has this imprint of that feel. So when the brain prepares you for one event and it doesn't happen in the usual manner . . .
