[font='Arial Narrow'][size=3]I have an Sep 03 MCS, I am looking at options to enhance acceleration, for around town driving, I do little highway running, so the six (6) speed it is not optimized for my use![/size][/font]

[font='Arial Narrow'][size=3]I am aware I can swap in a later model gearbox to revise gear ratios and enhance acceleration. I am also aware of company that provides an alternate ring & pinion that would achieve a similar result. Both of these options appear to be expensive.[/size][/font]

[font='Arial Narrow'][size=3]The later model MCS gearbox looks to have very similar if not the same ratios at the FOCUS SVT (also a Getrag Gearbox), so anyone have ideas how the parts interchange between the new & old MCS and/or the SVT gearbox (since the Quaife catalog lists different part numbers for a differential, I assume that there are some differences (Mini Vs. Ford).[/size][/font]
