I think it is a good tuning tool if you have the necessary guages and sensors to ensure everything is working according to plan. A wideband 02 sensor for determining A/F ratios is a must. You can have one welded into the exhuast system in addition to the narrowband 02, replace the narrowband one and have the electronics to convert the wideband amp readings into the proper narrowband voltage outputs, or you can spend mucho dinero on dyno tuning that where you can read the A/Fs by a sensor they put temporarily up your tailpipe.
