Drivetrain Mini-Madness Superfour Challenge car - 245hp?
george has a lot more then that in mods....i had everything you can for the mini motor.....here the pic of the stage 4 kit he has on his mini....pretty much the same as what i have other then i dont have the head and intake man....
Sorry that I wasn't aware of this thread ealier.
The car is making right around 235 uncorrected hp at the wheels on a dynojet dyno.
We've got numerous dyno charts of our stage 4 cars making 230+ hp at the wheels.
The car has everything in our stage 4 package as well as an obviously fully tuned suspension & full drivetrain package.
We also had an enhanced factory supercharger which dropped our outlet temperatures by over 20 degrees... this product is still in testing at the moment.
Dyno charts of other stage 4 kits producing 230+ whp are at the bottom of this page:

mmMatt,
Did it have a calalytic converter? I think Car and Driver's list of cars with cats did not include yours.
By the way - very nice showing, especially your road-course time which beat most of the rwd/awd cars, too, despite a great rating in their subjective "everyday drivability" category!
Well done, indeed. If I ever decide to start spending money upgrading my MCS, I'll come to Madness.

We were running our two piece header, we can switch between our high flow cat and a straight pipe in 5 minutes
90% of the cars at the challenge were stripped and without AC. When the editors got in the MINI they just smiled and relaxed as they finally got to drive around in a car with a full interior and cooling

The MINI was entering and exiting corners at higher speeds than the HKS EVO 8. It was a fun event for sure

Can you give us any info yet on your supercharger. The reduction in heat output is a pretty amazing number or is this still top secret stuff. Please Pm me. I'm still waiting on an order and haven't gotten any replies to the emails I have sent.
Thanks Larry

Looking at the MPH that mini should be in the 13's. I would like to see more info on the time sheets when the mini went to the strip. What were the 60' foots etc etc. There could be a few things that made the mini not see better times, traction, driver error just to name a few.
