RMS why no presence?

Ok I am curious why there are no dealers for the RMS supercharger kits that utilize a twin screw design here in the US? I was reading up on the better SC forum and to me someone shoudl come out with a twin screw. Also did anyone see the body kit on that mini on RMS's website. That thing is awesome. Where do you get flares like that here in the US?

Simple, cost. I have been trying to finish up development on the kit for the US, and RMS has a cost structure that pushes them pretty far out of sight for all but the unlimited budget types, making it a pretty tough thing to spend the money on importing.

If I can get a US supercharger supply, as was originally planned, the cost could become more reasonable, but Opcon, who supplies the Autorotor, has sold all of their US allotment, and don't see any in the near future being available. The kit price from RMS make the supercharger and pulley somewhere in the neighborhood of 2700E, then the cost of the kit is additional. With E v. $ exchange currently hammering us, it isn't feasible right now.

As soon as it is, I would like to import the kit, as it is an excellent solution. For now, we are researching other options, including our own kit and the Helix TurboKompressor kit (which we have already installed at our facility).

Hope that helps!

Randy
