AWD Needed!

Ok first off, I haven't posted in a while so I hope all is well with everyone here on NAM.
I know the topic off an AWD MINI isnt that old but I decided to spend a lot of time looking into it. I want it! Does anyone have info on the Getrag AWD system for the MINI? Is it available now? Or coming soon? I want that to be my next mod!

I, personally, highly doubt this will be made available as a mass market modification kit... You might be able to create your own one-off. Or maybe in 6 or 8 years there will be a kit for the 1st Gen MINI, but even that strikes me as unlikely because I think the demand - even worldwide - just won't be there. Furthermore, it just doesn't seem that it would be cost effective or reliable as a "modification."

Now, if MINI offers an AWD option from the factory in the future, that is a completely different story.
