License plate on bottom grill...

I need some opinions, would mounting my license plate on the right side of the lower grill on my MCS affect performance due to lack of airflow over condenser and radiator? I really dont want to mount it on the stock position, but i always seem to get pulled over in my 2002 when i run it with no front plate, this also goes for my silver honda civic DX, which is the most common looking car on the road....

Let me know...

It may not cause as many problems during the winter, but not a great place to put it for summer driving. Not only is it restricting air flow to the radiator, but the AC condenser as well because it sits in front of the radiator.

Here is I mounted mine on my AeroKit. I used the license plate bracket from Mini and drilled/mounted it through the bumper. I have no problems with air flow during in the summer....or winter

I posted something on this a little bit ago. So far I have had no over heating problems due to this location and it was 110 yesterday. Our grills breath better than stock so that may help offsett the blocked area.

I've had my front plate mounted this way since April. It gets a tad warm here in Dallas and I can be a bit intense with my car at times. I have had no overheating problems and the A/C still works fine.

I used the factory-provided front license plate mount.

By the way - as a test I covered up the lower grill completely with cardboard for a week. It caused no overheating problems. I don't think the A/C worked quite as well during that time. This was during 100 degree weather in July.
