Seriusly, why can't someone over here do this for like 3-4k? It's not like this turbo thing is some spaceage breakthrough technology Think of the weight loss loosing the SC...

WOW looks good but totally rediculous,

not the power the price you could buy another car for that sort of money,
like is anybody going to spend that sort of money for 300 hp,
there must be easier ways than that to gain 300 hp,
also these turbo kits are becoming very popular,
what will these tuners do for new ideas when the new Mini model is released in 2007 with a turbo,
probably offer supercharger kits for £15,000
people would be better off saving their money for the new model,
just my thoughts,

They are bragging about it's top speed being 160??? For that price???

Wow. So they got 19 mph more than me, and I only have an intake, 15% and MTH. Oh, sign me up...NOT.

If I'm not mistaken, only a fool would put that much power into the Mini without appropriate suspension/brake upgrades which would bring the Mini at around $30,000. Which leads me to think that the grand total would be somewhere between $65,000 to $70,000 USD. For a Mini?!?! It'd have to be a CF wide bodied, 400hp mid-engined, 1900lb Mini for me to get a rise

I think that I would go Porsche for that kind of money.......I already have over $40K in mine but it happened insidiously....not planned. I am very impressed with over 300 lbs or torque.

I am thinking about a turbo when they come out if JCW does something really sexy with it. Maybe black/black/black....full JCW but the turbo will need to be able to be up-rated to around 300 hp.

What I really would like is AWD to go with it.

I am a dreamer....and Diane Lane is my new girlfriend

That car is alive and strong, recently made the trip from Arizona to Los Angeles and back with no problems.

It is sqeezing a little n20 to make those #'s but it has also put down over 350whp without n2o. And its still got a stock head, cam and throttle body !

what wheels and tires are getting that power to the ground and does the power modulate well on partial throttle etc.?

what are your 0-60, 10-70, 20-80 kind of times.

what is the torque number.

Sorry about the questions but I am interested and am concerned about the behaviour to drive the car everyday if I wanted to.

430 WHP to be exact which is 500 HP at the crank...with out the NOS they made 350 WHP which is still amazing...

what is the torque number.
with 430 WHP The TQ was 400 ft lbs

350 WHP was like 326 ft lbs if my memory serves me right...and the other amazing thing is that TQ is reached very quickly due to keeping the SC on the Mini

he is running volk racing wheels with kuhmo mx tires I believe. He drives this car every day and has no drivablility issues.

I have never driven the car so I cant speak from personal experience.

As far as times go I think he did a low 12 last time out on bad tires and a smaller turbo.

Haven't read the BBR propeganda yet, but that under the bonnet shot looks tight Good level of finish - alloy pipes & that "Primary Designs" (intercooler?) core infront is SHA-WING nice.
