Did anyone else see the notice at the bottom of their page? It talks about another company ripping their design off. Are they refering to Rogue Engineering with this comment?

No I believe they are refering to Diamond Racing.
Here is the Diamond Racing Cooper S intake. Comment amungst yourselves on whether is looks like a design rip off.

The MINI-Madness Cooper S intake is made by Rogue, so yes the pictures are the same.
I believe that Madness is the main retailer/co-producer of this intake. Don't quote me on that, but it's something like that.
The Diamond Racing version above uses a pipercross filter, but it's the heatshield application that appears to be a knock-off. Notice it's flat across the top, thereby not "sealing" on the hood? Hmmm.....
And I really don't know how the Turner one fits into this. Appears to be a Rogue/Madness intake that's black powder coated.

OK, let me see if I can straighten this out a bit.
Rogue manufacturers and sells the intake that is also sold by MINI-Madness, Turner, and MINI Cooper Motorsport. It is availabel from Rogue to customers and distributors in aluminum finish, or a black wrinkle coat.
The Pipercross is distributed by Diamond Racing and MINI Cooper Motorsport, and is manufactured by Pipercross in the UK, heat shield and all. It has been around for as long as the Rogue, so I don't think it's a rip off. The Pipercross emblem is stamped right into the hesat shield.
What may be causing some of this confusion is that a lot of people are modding their cars for the first time. This isn't a new practice, as there are many companies that distribute a particular product and rebadge it (even though I don't rebadge - I think you are all smart enough to figure out where I got it). Take the KW coilovers for example - they are actually made by Koni and rebadged as KW.
I hope this cleared some of the confusion.
Let me know if you have any questions at all about how things work in the aftermarket industry, I'd be glad to help.
