Drivetrain Where, exactly, should I place my bung?
Where, exactly, should I place my bung?
Sorry, I couldn't resist...
I've done the searches and read the threads, but I'm still confused about one last point: if the pre-cat is used primarily for cold start emissions, is it okay to place my wide-band O2 sensor bung between the pre-cat and the primary cat? From all the pics on the OBX header thread and from crawling under my car, this placement would be a LOT easier and certainly a more convenient job. However, if the pre-cat would significantly alter the gas reaching the wide-band sensor at normal operating temperatures, then the easy location is a non-starter.
Thanks,
Jeff
