Nitrous!

Oh boy am I excited. My cousin just recently blew up his honda civic (had 180,000 miles) with his Nitrous Express kit. He was about to trash the whole thing but I picked it up from him for about $150. I couldn't pass it up.

I hope I will have time to put it on tomorow. Deffinately going to be a fun test drive.

What size jet would be the intelligent choice? I know I have GIAC and I think that might advance the timing... So should I go 35? 50? 75 ?

Just finished the install and the test drive... Where do I begin?? I just scared the crap out of my self.

It is raining a little here and I have my falken azenis on but I didn't think it would be that big of a problem. Boy was I wrong. I am only using the "50 shot" but that was more then enought to break the tires loose in 4th.

I believe I have finally reached my goal power wise with my MCS. Now where are thoose Evo's hidding???

WOW! That's way cool!

We want to hear more details... a write up... pictures!

How does it work? Is it the kind that kicks in when you floor it? Or do you have a button??

Sounds cool. But arn't you concerned about doing the same thing your cousin did?

It's a button right now but I might install the WOT switch tomorow. I will post some picks once I get everything cleaned up. I kinda did a messy install... Was in a hurry.

I'm a little concerned about blowing the motor. However when my cousing did it he was not on a drag strip. He held the button down for a very long time (6 times in a row, and about 2 min each time with less then a minute between sprays). Oh and he also forgot to let off the button a couple of times when he let off the throttle.

Theres the problem right there.....

Oh and you may want to consider taking out the performance chip as they usually advance timing and that is a BIG no-no with nitrous.

Sorry if we didnt get back to you with your questions . The M7 system has a arming switch which you can mount anywhere . After the system is armed it will sence WOT and feed the NOS as you require. There are 4 different size nozzles to adjust the amount of HP. The system also monitors each injector and will shut down the NOS flow if it sences a lean condition. The NOS injector itself is installed into the driver side cast aluminum intercooler air passage. I think you can see what I am talking about in the enclosed photos. Again , sorry about not getting back to you the first time. You can also find additional info on our site, www.m7tuning.com

is it possible you would ship this system to Ireland and
how difficult is the install im pretty handy with a spanner
could you please email me the install instructions if you have them
would love this system but if the install is difficult I dont know if I would get much support here in Ireland as NOS is not very popular here

Sounds nice. But that speed comes and goes. With a smaller pulley or other mods you get constant power.

Do you plan to go to the Drag strip alot? If so I can totally understand

Dude, You really need to consider how you are going to manage and monitor your fuel....and your nitrous flow. If you make a tiny mistake in your timing of pushing the button, well, you'll be looking for a motor. At least with a WOT trigger, you are in somewhat control.

What kind of times did you run? Was that a 50 shot?

Yes and that's exactly why I installed the WOT switch this mourning. I would hate to see what would happen if you bumped the button while idling.

We need to have a nitrous versus twin charge show down some time. That would be quite interesting. Oh but EL and SPI can't come.

The black nozzle is closer to a 90 hp hit.
