Has anyone gotten the JCW ECU upgrade without the kit? will this work better with things like an intake, and pulley?

hey, whats up... you know i had the question while back and i did some searching within the forum and there are 1 or 2 threads about it...

it seems according to what i found that it make the car feel smoother but when it comes to power it actualy mkaes your car slower... special since the new flash is for bigger injectors...

and if you ask me.. well that flash is specificly made to work with the JCW stuff... so unless you have it, then it will not work right.

if you want an ECU flash and dont wanna pay alot get MTH...

I had the JCW flash done on my car (15%, intake, magnaflow) and while it was somewhat better than the stock software, it was no where near the performance level of the EVO flash from Webb.

I had the mods and drove the car with stock software, then had the EVO done so I could tell the difference (huge). Then when I had the dealer reflash to eliminate the "stumble" I was given the JCW flash, so I had a direct comparison. I then went back and got another EVO flash. All the comparisons were done with enough driving on each setup to get a pretty good idea.
