JCW kit for the Automation Cooper S is coming

I just got this e-mail and thought I'd share my glee with ya'all

"Yes the JCW kit for the Automation Cooper S will be available mid to late May" - Richard de Jong, General Manager, John Cooper Works

What is an Automation Cooper S? :smile: Any relation to a Cooper S with the automatic transmission option?

However, mid-April was the original availabile date (at least what was quoted to me when I enquired in mid-February). Now it appears to have slipped another month.

my guess would be is that transmission is scaring them a bit. I'm not sure they don't intend to modify it with some software or something eigther. I think its best to let them do all the testing they need to, so we don't have to worry about bugs or failures down the road.
