Am I crazy for wanting to do this?

I had a funny thought today. Modifying the exhaust on my MCS to exit right behind each can, instead of in the center. I don't know if i really want to do it, but i've found some pics online that make me want to. So I was thinking....If I get something like Borla street, and just have the tips come out straight back from the can on each side, instead of going back to the center, and replace my rear valence with a MC valence (and cut the same hole on the left hand side for the other tailpipe) would that work? am I actually crazy?

cooper Si, yes indeed, just like that, but with only one outlet on each side instead of two. well i guess once i get to that point it will be easy. Do you know how to get valence/exhaust to look like that?

i got the pic from newminiscotland.co.uk from the gallery section...the concept looks easy enough..but i wud have thought the right hand pipes would be alot louder than normal...unless u just tack weld the pipes on for just the look ! I quite like the two pipes per side...single pipes would look a tad lost dont you think ?

Not crazy, I actually prefer the look of a single sided exhaust but others may not.

Just don't throw on a fart can, whatever you do! I'm with kaelaria on this one 100%

But the dual exhaust idea is a cool one. Keep us posted if you go ahead with the project
