My new set-up...updated w/ dyno #'s

Well, I've been in hiding for a while now, so I thought I'd update.
I got the juice. I've been running Venom nitrous for a bit now. I put my 19% back on, and put in 400cc injectors. This is in addition to many other things from last year. I also wrapped the header. What a difference in underhood temps!
My first 1/4 mile will be on the 15th (track opening delayed two weeks because of snow). On street pavement, I cannot keep 1st, 2nd and usually third from breaking loose. I am using Azenis Sports again. The temps haven't gotten much over 50 degrees...that doesn't help traction much on the street. It is pretty cool to roll along in third gear and put the pedal down...only to leave a patch!
I hope to put down low 13's...if that fails, I'll be surprised! Real surprised.

Are you heading to Epping? If you don't get into the 13's with that setup, I will spread the word to have the El Camino drivers all laugh at you.

Yep, Epping. I just need to find a helmet now...and some drag radials would help hook it up.

IIRC, you don't need a helmet at Epping unless you under 14 seconds. Obviously, they have no idea if you are under 14 seconds until you run.

Yeah, I know. I want to be able to do more than one pass though . This thing is certainly well under 14 sec. They just did some resurfacing work, so the track will be virgin. I hope for a lot of traction compound, otherwise I'm screwed.
I hope to force you to create that "12 sec." column on your chart...
I also hope I don't bust something...again.

Tim, don't rub it in. My car is still at Helix. I'm in serious withdrawal, but it won't be long and I'll be back with a vengeance. You'll have to get a job to support the juice habit now.
Nail some mid 13's for us
Did I tell you I got a ride in Andy's MCS?
Eric borrowed Andy's car to take me and Jacque from NY to the train station. I'll bet we got in the 12's with three of us on board at least half a dozen times on those Philly streets.

Biotch!!

I did a few dyno pulls at Yarrowsport on Saturday.............I'm not tellin' the numbers. Race me to find out!

I told Yarrow ahead of time that we may have an issue with traction on the rollers pulling in third...his answer was "not a chance, we have run a 1900hp car with and never lost traction"
Well, we both sat in the car and did the first nitrous pull...we roasted the tires in third! "Hmmmmmm! We seem to have an issue with traction.", he said.

Too cool. I really miss it. I loved the look on the Mustang GT owners when I blew them off like pesky flies. Getting the biotch to hook up is the trick. My car still waiting for a manifold. I'm taking my wife's Mazda RX-8 to New Hampshire Int'l this weekend. Please, god.....don't let me wreck it!!

The dyno says:

231whp, 245ft-lb torque

It calculated to 274.9 at the crank.

It roasted the tires on the rollers in third...pretty cool .

It is more than a consideration....I'll let you know! Once I go BLACK, I may not want to go back.

I'll fax them to you, or I will scan them in a day or so....there was one weird spike to 14.1 at ~3800, the rest was quite rich.

It's edited ... just waiting to click save. Now, don't go breaking into the 11's or anything ... that will screw up everything.
