Drivetrain A Borla Problem (???)
A Borla Problem (???)
This happened the other day with my Borla Sport exhaust. We suspect it's because before the mod bracket came out for the 2004 there was only the OEM bracket to support the can.
We are talking with Borla right now for replacement.
Has anyone else had this problem and how was Borla to deal with?

I've had this exhaust for 1.5 years on my '03 without a problem. The way mine hangs in the factory bushes puts no stress on the can hangers. First I've ever heard of such a thing with this exhaust. I hope they come through for you.
I would hope that it was no-questions-asked - they do have their "Million Mile Warranty" that they constantly brag about.
Are you saying that you have a 2004 and you used a pre-2004 Borla and hung it with only one hanger per side? - that might be an exception to the warranty....

I have to admit, I'm not all that concerned about it. It was installed by an autorized Borla dealer and they (Borla) was advised and queried about the single hanger. Should be a no brainer.
