Pilo Pistons

Everyone,

I am interested in including Pilo racing pistons in my next engine build-up.

I have a few questions.

Firstly, will these raise the compression ratio? Surely this is not desireable for our cars ('boosted' MCSs)?

Secondly, is anyone running these? Will I need new/different rods etc before installation?

I would of course have the block honed and new quality ring seals put in etc. The whole bottom end would be balanced accordingly. I would also like to know what the Pilo piston set comes with?

Lastly, how much will this all set me back and can they be sent to the UK? Is there is lead time?

So many questions, so much scope for answers

Thanks in advance,

Henry

Sorry for the delay.

There is a several week lead time on pistons as we design each set for your specific application.

The comptession ratio is variable. We have an 8.5:1 set in a car pushing over 20 lbs of boost. But we can keep it stock if you wish.

Included in the set are the 4 pistons, and Rings for each piston.

Regarding the Rod. We are working on 2 diffrent designs. The first is a stock design, that allows for the .125" of material around the Piston Pin. The second will be a taller on allowing for .175 of material around the Pin. there are also 2 diffrent pistons designs that will be available. one for each rod configuration. E-mail me if you need more specific information to your application.
