Dinantronics X compatibility with mods

Iam getting ready to finally pull the trigger on a tune for my Clubman, in this case the piggy back tune from Dinan. I would go with the dme tune but I do have a warranty on the engine that I would like to try to keep. I've already laid the foundation with numerous mods, exhaust, intake, hard pipe, throttle tuner etc... all from Dinan so I assume those mods will play nice with the unit. But what about possible mods down the road? I am thinking a catted downpipe and an intercooler. Would these mods cause any issue? Throw cel codes?
Anybody have an experience doing the same? Thanks.

The piggy back plug-in modules will not prevent a CEL when installing a cat-less down pipe, so keep that in mind. Apart from that, they will work with all other bolt on mods.

If I go with a downpipe it would be a sport cat one, I am eyeballing the one from racing dynamics when I get to that stage.

That's good to hear, I thought I read something about the piggyback units from Dinan not getting a long with some mods and throwing cel's but if I remember correctly it was the older elite units not the dinantronics. Not sure if they had the same issue.

All the piggy back units are basically the same. Whether or not they play nice with mods depends on how finicky your particular car is.

I’ve ran dinantronics x on my f56 for a year with no problems. Catback/intake/front mount upgrade. Basically stage 1 bolt ons.

I've had the dinantronics x until on my f54 for about 2 months now with the full Dinan kit on it ( intake, exhaust, intake resonator delete, throttle tuner) and it runs great. I also installed a racing dynamics intercooler and hard pipes. It definitely makes more boost and power. Would installing a sport cat downpipe be worth it? Would it improve anything? More power, throttle response, noise??? Can't run a decat here or I would.
