wow... probably one of the most generic questions a guy can ask!

what are you looking for? nice sound? nice gains? weight savings? what

to start no mini catback will EVER make your S sound ricey... all mini aftermarket exhaust i've heard makes a very nice tone

budget wise... megan exhaust (420 us) and scorpion (550) are the most inexpensive, but no one made any claims on hp gain, i got a scorpion, and i swear it sounds SOOO nice almost like a classic mini racer with the popping and farting... i didnt care for hp gains really

sound wise.... magnaflow and borla race are very loud...

gains wise, supposedly miltek makes very good numbers, magnaflow and borla race are suppose to make more

if you want quiet, borla street is quiet

if you want serious weight saving, alta and quicksilver makes a high pitch whine all times, but saves you over 20 lbs!

in the end.. listen to the sound clips littered around nam, then ask question one you narrow down your choices,

If you want loud, Magnaflow or Borla Race... if you want quiet, Miltek. Those are basically the 3 to chose from as far as performance gains go.... oh and never listen to anyone who says a header doesnt provide any performance gains

Did you do a search? Tons of info on this topic already. I have the Borla Race (Louder than Street version) and I love it. Check the sticky, it has most of the exhausts and sound clips!

Well if you are looking for something loud then go with one sided NRP exhaust. Thats what I have. Wasn't that loud until I straight piped the first resonator. Sure does sound nice though. Probably too loud for most.

Borla Race sounds AWSOME and induces heart palpitations above 5500.

you are probably going to get as many different responses as there are systems. One man's meat is another's poison.I have the Remus and although slightly louder than stock, it is very nice. As has been said ,go to Randy's sticky or the one on this site in the "beneath the bonnet" sticky and check out the sound clips. Also check into "events" like pulley parties or midnight runs or local clubs and go see them first hand.I DO realize this is a hard thing to research having gone through it myself recently.Opinions are SO subjective. good luck!

I got it from http://www.webbmotorsports.com/ (a sponsor here on NAM)

I think it was $700.00 plus installation (which I had done at a pulley party at Steve's Auto Clinic in North Hills, CA)

About 8/9 hp is what is advertised.

UUC is the best sounding and has one of the highest power gains as well. I get compliments on the sound all of time. It is however, one of the most expensive - but that makes it all the more exclusive.

Mine is Invidia....same as Skunk2. The only different of the two is the tips. Invidia comes with Titanium tips.

Let's listen to the deep voice one more time. It sounds like Hey! I'm small, but I got big power inside.

Sound at 2K RPM

2.5" SS center pipe, w/ resonator, plus Borla Turbo muffler

I think for a little less than 600 bucks (it's been a while), and some surgery, you can go straight. With the SS center pipe, the finished project looks more nice...
