Two words: "Marketing ****".
Now, to be fair so to speak, is there anything else in the system that is as small or smaller than the 2.5" ID of that hose? If so, then that hose may flow better than the stock piece and be an 'improvement' over said stock piece.

Why sell an intake pipe claiming better flow, being 3" straight through without a resonator, the factory MAF sensor tube is 3 1/4".
The hose is ridged inside, should be smooth to not disrupt airflow, and be 3" ID.

Because... they don't really care. They just want to sell pipes.
So I removed the silicone connector today (to remove the "FORGE" logos stamped 8 times)!!
I noticed something odd. The silicone hose is technically 3" ID at the ends, but those strengthening rings sound it
the true diameter inside is 2.5", and ridges.
How can someone sell an item to increase the intake flow, when there's an restriction by design??
