FTP Motorsport vs Forge intake

Is the forge worth the price difference?

Also looks like the FTP has a version 1.0(above) and a version 2.0 (below). anyone know the difference?

Having installed the Forge intake pipe I like it's one piece design and it's well made. It can be installed without taking off heat shields with a little finesse. The FTP being a 2 piece design would be easier to install but I don't like having another section of hose and clamps in the middle of the pipe. When removing the existing pipe you can pop the hose clamp where the pipe meets the plastic housing and pull the pipe off making removal easier.

The forge was installed yesterday. I think I do notice a difference with less turbo lag due to better air flow.

I just bought the ECS pipes to compete the rear side of the equation. Will update here after installed. I appreciate that they broke the complete kit up to allow folks like myself who already have the front piece to not have to buy an entire set.

So apparently I ordered the wrong part and have sent it back. I have the piece that goes from the airbox to the turbo(the forge intake hard pipe). What I need are the 2 charge pipes. Anyone know where I can get these without having to get another intake pipe?

Hello,
I have installed the FTP Motorsport version on my F54, both the intake and charge pipes! Here’s the info for the charge pipes.

ECS shows this item to be in stock!

Hope you this helps, the fit and finish was spot on!

I already had the forge intake and just added the FTP boost and charge pipes. I can tell a difference. The turbo certainly breathes better and the engine feels more responsive with a bit more acceleration at lower RPMs.
