M7 Intake boot

Hello everyone,

I bought a 2011 N18 MCS a few months ago and I have been upgrading a few things to make it nice. I currently have a Alta CAI and a blow off value adapter. I had a cracked intake boot and went buy a replacement but found a M7 speed one for close the same price and went for it. It came with connection replicators and I installed it all like the instructions said. After everything was installed and set up I took it for a drive but started to get turbo flutter. I still have the whoosh sound for the blow off value but you can hear it flutter. Now don’t get me wrong, it sounds awesome but I know it causes wear on the turbo. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me. I haven’t seen any other posts about this and NAM or any other websites.
If you have any insights they would be appreciated.

Changing the intake pipe possibly just making the intake noises louder. I have the M7 turbo inlet pipe on my 2012 N18 and haven't had any issues.
