Track Video: SPI Twincharged MCS

...short clip of the SPI Twincharged MCS running with a Supra and Viper from 70mph to 110mph, short shifting at 6K. The footage was from one of our test days, checking some improvements to the kit. Those cars better watch their mirrors because we will be coming back with even more POWER!

Flashing Blue Lights?

What are the Blue LEDs in the gauges that are in the vent holes showing?

Are those Defi BF 60mm gauges? How did you mount them in the vents?

We just returned from a trade show and the gauges were programmed to run in demo mode. The DEFI BF's are cycling through the opening and closing ceremony.

We dissambled the vents and used the inner frame to hold the gauge, allowing it to still swivel like the factory air vent.

Definitely need more footage. i liked what i saw so far!!

looks like you could give that viper a run for his money, or that guy was just a pansy and didn't know how to drive his dodge.

I don't think that they were "racing" in this video. Looks more like it was just track time and everyone was just following the leader. I think the Viper would be gone if no one were out front.
No?

A stock Viper has a weight to hp ratio of less than 7 (6.7 or so). If the MINI's weight is down to 2,500 lbs, she would still need near 375hp to be in that neighborhood...

I don't know in one straight away it seemed like the viper just leaped away.

i hope you re not surprised that 400 something hp V10 pulled away on a streight away! but i noticed the viper driver braking way to early, which i think was due to the lack of drivers skill and not the cars handling.

We are not making enough power to pass supras or vipers on a straight...........yet. It's just nice for a change to be able to hang with them and not get embarrassed until we get them in the turns

Actually, if you watch the main straight were the supra, viper and the mini are wide open, the supra, which has a t78 single, definitely was able to pull away from the both of us before the turn.

On the second short straight, all of us backed off, probably why the viper braked early, because a ferrari 308/328? was coming out of the pits.

Not suprised just pointing it out to Ol Yeller that thought the MCS would give him a run for his money.

That looked like a hell of a good time. The Viper looked like he would be quick on the straight but weak in the breaking and cornering area. It must have driven him nuts seeing a " chick car " filling his mirrors. Good job and nice footage lets see more.
