I just bought a 2010 Clubman S, and the prior owner included a plug in JB tuner. I cannot find where a JB tuner was ever made for the N14 engine in my car, so I assume this one is for a different engine.
I cannot tell which engine this is for. It looks exactly like the ones for the N18 engine and for the B series engines. Is there an easy way I can identify this tuner so I can list it for sale?
Here it is. No real identifying info. The colored insert on one plug matches the color for the plug on the N18 version, but I don't know for certain whether the company used a standard color for each different model.
I will say that it is likely to be the one for the N18 since the car has the related N14 engine, but the seller hasn't gotten back to me so I was hoping someone else knew the answer.
I believe the MAF sensors to have the same connectors between the N14 and N18 engines, so it’s possible the previous owner just through it in there. Do you notice any difference in performance with it removed?
I ran one for the N55 on my N18 without issue (unbeknownst to me). Open it and examine the PCB. It should be silk-screened on there but in reality I doubt there is any difference in functionality in the least.

I am hesitant to install it as I didn't see where the website for the tuner said it would work with my engine. I am more interested in selling it and I don't want to screw someone by giving them the wrong tuner.

Thank you for this suggestion! Turns out it is for the N18:
