Drivetrain Clutch not disengaging
Clutch not disengaging
I just swapped my 5 speed midlands to a 6 speed getrag in my 2002 r50. I went with the valeo clutch and pressure plate. My problem is I can’t get the clutch to disengage. I replaced both the master and the slave because of this problem and no luck. I have pressure bled the system from both the reservoir and reverse pressure bled it from the slave bleed nipple multiple times. I have also vacuum bled it both directions and I have put pressure on the slave nipple and left it overnight trying to push the air up and out. I already pulled the tranny a second time to verify the disk direction and condition of pivot pin and throwout bearing guide all was fine. I’m at wits end here. I don’t live anywhere near a mini dealer or I would have already given up and taken it to them. What am I missing? I never find air in the system when I bleed it. Is there some issues I’m not aware of with the transmission swap I did?

How far out does
the piston on the slave go when the pedal is depressed? Mine goes out to 3 1/4” from the throwout bearing arm to the flange where slave bolts onto.
