...but if you go to the "configurator" at MINIusa.com, you'll see LSD listed as a $500 option.
Now maybe it got ordered on yours - have you taken delivery yet? I was under the impression the LSD won't be available until 1/1/05 builds.
There's another acronym thing that you get even if you don't get DSC. Somebody help me here - ASC? ALC? ALS? If you get DSC, that other thing is there too. That may be what your dealer is thinking of.

Besides, only $500 for a factory LSD is a steal of a deal! Lucky Jan'05+ production owners!
P.S. for LombardStreet: It's ASC, for All-Season [traction] Control. Standard on all MCS's.

DSC is always separate from LSD. Both are options but it will cost you more to have both.
So it is NO, there is no truth to that "myth".
It's easy enough to look at the invoice paper to see that each is listed as a different option.
