They are located outside London so I am sure the climate provides plenty of rain to test. This is what they say about water on their website:

Since we have a direct airflow path to the filter, it is important that we also allow for water to be drained before reaching the filter. In order to protect against excess water ingress, we have designed several features into the intake components as follows.
  • 1) The top of the scoop covers the openings which stops rainfall entering the duct when the car is at a standstill.
  • 2) The scoop has 2 flow directing ramps which also act as a water barrier by forcing the water to fall down onto the base of the duct rather than moving straight to the filter area.
  • 3) The duct has 2 openings to allow water to drain out - above the radiator and also a drain hole before the filter housing connection.
  • 4) The face of the duct as it meets the filter housing has a wall on which the rubber edging is secured. This wall stops any build up of water from directly entering the filter and water is drained through the extra drain hole.

thanks for the reply I had a look at my scoop and saw it had ovals as stock my fault at not looking before posting.

- The original airbox is state of the art, the additional port itself supplies enough fresh air to make the snorkels obsolete
- the flow is better
- it costs a fraction compared to the Eventuri
- it keeps for 3rd party inspections the original look, none oh these fresh air devices are on german roads legal, and your find yourself awarded with a fine and rebuild

The original airbox layout with changed port makes the use of a sub cool element possible which i will not show
You posted a link to a video on FaceBook, how is that self explanatory that its your car? I dont use FaceBook and i dont follow you.

Im assuming you must have a manual transmission as there is no space for any tubing with an automatic transmission.

Why even bothering sharing if youre not going to show anyone? What a useless post

This is what I was planning on setting up on my 2019 JCW. Now question is will this run on an automatic. I notice some post about manuals?

The post about transmissions was about this guys home brew ducting setup, not the Eventuri. Looking at the install instructions, there doesn't look to be a transmission restriction. Also, I will be installing it on my auto.

For a 2019 I'm pretty sure you would need the LCI version, which has a different maf sensor mount.

There you go!

I ordered mine last week(ish). How long did it take to get to you from when you placed your order?

Too long, I ordered it from IND distribution, and chose priority mail. The package ended up off the grid from Nov 27th until yesterday when it finally showed a tracking update in Florida and got delivered today.

I have a 2019 JCW will this install with mine being an automatic and not a manual? What is your first thoughts on the glass? ( glass = carbon fiber) man it looks sweet!

Yeah it's expensive, but this is the final mod I plan on doing on the car to complement the dinan elite and I wanted some serious bling under the hood and one of the highest quality products available.

I hope I don't regret it.

Did you seriously just ask the same question 3 times in a row?

To answer your extremely repetitive question, there is no difference intake wise between manual and automatic. Since you have a 2019 you may have the updated MAF, so email customer service before you order to make sure.

Yep,

We updated the link above so you can see the pre and post LCI (most people on here have the pre LCI so we showed that) with the link to the install doc so you can look at your MAF sensor. Yes they have some in the states. But not many.

Looking at the pics I dont see why the auto would not work. We are waiting to hear back on the F54 Clubman fitment.

Damn! Let me take a cold shower... BRB! . That looks sweet! How did the install go? Do you have sport exhaust and how does it sound? And last but not least can you tell a difference in horse power?

Hah, I'll be making a complete review post/thread when I get a chance. So far I put 35 miles on it, nary a hiccup and no check engine light.

The install was very easy, took about 40 minutes including removing the stock stuff.

Horsepower, maybe a difference. The car already has the Dinan elite tuner on it, throttle response seems slightly improved

Thanks! It looks the same under the hood of my F54 as it does here on the F56, hopefully they can confirm.
