I do and was, actually. 2019 MCS, JCW kit, not quite 500 miles on it. The JB+ came from the factory, unbeknownst to me, at one click below max. I installed it anyway. After a couple days, my mini gave me the “Drivetrain Malfunction: drive carefully” error. I checked the codes the next morning, and there was a P120308, which google helpfully identified as “boost pressure lower than expected”. I took the JB+ out, adjusted it to on click below 3 o'clock and my MCS has been happy ever since. The sports display with my current setup gets pegged at the 240HP marker, and my ODB reader show calculated HP at 126. Grain of salt and all that.

I'm confused about the HP readings off an OBD reader (or the OEM sports display, which is getting the same info I guess). How could it get accurate #s on a system like the Burger or NM, which is basically altering the sensor signals and tricking the ECU into adding more boost?

No clue.... I have wondered about these too. From my understanding, the tuner boxes basically trick the ECU into thinking it’s at a higher altitude to increase the demand for boost. I’ve been wondering if a boost gauge that reads off the MAP sensor like a lot of the plug in ones do, as well as dash command and the like, I’m curious if they still read accurately with these? Also what does tricking the ECU like that do to your AFR’s and timing? I do not have one, so my curiosity is purely academic, but I’d like to know. That’s why I leaned towards an ECU tune instead, plus I don’t have the warranty concerns that some have.

Afr and timing are not affected as per burgermotorsport I am not sure on boost my afr reads perfect my boost gauge is the factory one that is connected to the canbus.

I don't think boost readings would be accurate via ODB. However, that should be the only thing affected by JB+ and the like. With the added boost, the engine will do more, and that can be measured.

I am, I have it maxed out and it runs great with no problems. I have to say for the little part that it is, it has made an amazing difference in my F56 s. Definitely has more pick up in the top end so the car kinda has a big turbo kind of feel to it. It really kicks in right around 3k RPM, and comfortably provides extra power to about 6200 rpm.
