Drivetrain (Cooper S) MINI Cooper S (R53) intakes, exhausts, pulleys, headers, throttle bodies, and any other modifications to the Cooper S drivetrain.

Drivetrain Replacing OEM pulley...anyone done it?

actually, the hot setup for the bisch app would be a 10% pulley, 10% larger. the P&D secret lab is making one as well a stock, a taper fit (and a bolt on, if you have the original P&D shrink fit.)

Well, I finally got around to doing it. The OEM pulley is back on. Rather uneventful. I used a hot-plate to heat it up, water to cool it down. Wow. How slow the "stock" S pulley is....I forgot how it felt.

I can't remember - Does it sit flush with the end of the shaft?

As standard, yes it does sit practically flush with maybe a little protrusion. Whether it does now depends on whether or not Bisch managed to get the pulley all the way onto the shaft.
