Methanol question

I'm going to be adding water/meth to my R53 and I need to know the best place to put the injector. It will be a Stage 1 Snow kit. I see pictures here showing it tapped into the manifold on the driver's side of the intercooler.
Is that the best place to put it, or is there another place that works as well without drilling and tapping that? I'm not worried about the tapping, I just want to put it in the optimum location.
Thanks;

Dave.O and Mr Blah both are "meth" heads. Pretty sure one or both will chime in.

While you can technically spray anywhere post S/C, the location you're thinking of is widely regarded as the best. Mostly because that portion of the intake system (that horn) is the easiest to disassemble and reassemble to insure no stray metal shavings get into the intake tract.

Going to be adding a meth kit in the future as well. If you don't mind post some pics of your install a you go. Also what size nozzle you going with. Subscribed

Looks like the horn on the drivers side of the IC is the easiest place to put the nozzle. I see that some put another tap there to sense the boost pressure. Looks like that is a lot easier than cutting a tee in between the SC and the t-map sensor at the front of the SC. I am about to pull the SC and change the oil and plan to put the taps in then. The meth kit will be a little while after that. My car has headlight washers that I will never use, so that will be my meth tank and the whole install will be under the hood.

While you can tap there for boost also, most people simply pull boost/vacuum with a Tee in the vacuum line that runs to the Fuel Pressure Regulator.
If you use the FPR vacuum, just make sure that the connection to the FPR stays tight.
