Bytetronik Stage-2 Custom Map

For those BT customers who already have the FlashAccess module and our Stage-1 flash, you can now take advantage of the Stage-2 custom map.

In order to get the Stage-2, the follow upgrades are required:

  1. Intake or Drop in filter
  2. NGK Colder plugs (8C8S)
  3. Upgraded Intercooler
  4. Quality aftermarket down pipe
  5. Data logs (CSV format preferred)
For Datalogs, these are the minimum parameters required:

  • Air Fuel Ratio
  • Engine Load(%)
  • Engine RPM(rpm)
  • Engine Air Temp
  • Fuel Trim Bank 1 Long Term(%)
  • Fuel Trim Bank 1 Short Term(%)
  • Intake Manifold Pressure(psi)
  • Timing Advance
  • Calculated Boost Pressure (if available)
Cost of the Stage-2 Custom Map is $150 for current BT FA56 customers.

and you will want to get some stickier tires and a dam good radar detector too! The Stage 2 ROCKS this car into another level. I couldn't be any happier with how it transformed my little 4 door F55 into an absolute joy to drive and drive it fast.

What transmission do you have? It feels like my clutch is on the ragged edge with the stage 1.

I already have all the stage 2 hardware installed. I just need to do some data logging. I'll have a chance to put the tune through it's paces this week at MOTD. Also have a Dyno session scheduled for Saturday afternoon while at the Dragon. Keep us posted on your stage 2.

Think about what you're missing at The Dragon, Vinnie. That'll take your mind off the tune.

2016 Auto JCW with Forged IC & Milltek Sprot CAT

Custom dyno tuned this vehicle; the car came in with all the parts already installed so the 'baseline pull' was already 25WHP above a stock JCW.
  1. Solid line = Factory JCW Tune (with Forged IC & Milltek Sports CAT)
  2. Dotted line = Bytetronik's dyno tune (with Forged IC & Milltek Sport CAT)
2016 Factory JCW Auto tested in MD AWD Dyno in all-wheel drive mode; Forged IC, Bytetronik tune, AWE Intake, Milltek Sports CAT, NGK one-step colder plugs; AWE CAI; 93 Octane Shell V-power.

FYI: A bone stock JCW Auto typically makes between 185WHP to 195WHP on our Mustang AWD Dyno.

Stock JCW Map: 211 WHP ; 229 WTQ
BT Stage-2: 239 WHP (289 BHP); 305 WTQ (371 ETQ = Engine Torque)

(Gains over stock tune: +28WHP | +76WTQ)

Peak torque at around 2700 RPM

Im not selling it back to you

Installed Stage 2 on Friday........

Can't stop smiling

There is a nice little (more) boost of power. Like I told Mike, if Mini sold the cars stock like this, their sales would be incredible.
