Dynan Sport+ vs Sport modes

Folks who have a Dynan sport. Have you gotten any codes using Sport+ mode? I installed mine in Sport mode and it seems to work great but I'm considering going up to the next notch . I'm in CA and can only get 91 octane gas btw.

How do you connect to the Dynan? I have the Elite and saw on the app there’s a race and I wanted to try it out. However I don’t see any Bluetooth or WiFi network for it. Can’t say on the sport+ but why not go for it crap gas be damned!

Best,
Gene

On the sport version you connect to it with their android app. Though their app is quite buggy (and they don't seem to answer emails :-) ) and only works on my older android tablet, my newer android phone doesn't see the Dinan.

I thought your Dinan had to be replaced because it failed.

I run Sport+ on 91 California top tier pump gas without issues.
Had a bit of knocking last summer in hot weather stop-and-go traffic when in Race mode so I stepped down to Sport+and the car has been very happy. Especially in the cooler weather, the car really rips.

Last week my wife drove our MINI for the first time in a long while and she commented on how "zippy" and smooth the acceleration felt.

I have found that with the Dinan Sport in Sport+, and the car set in Sport Mode, and the auto tranny in Sport, throttle tip in and shifting is very safistying. The car just rips.

Also, as an aside, with the ASD turned off (Carly now can do this, as can other apps) the car sounds so much better. We can now really appreciate just how refined the newer BMW engines are.

Feeling like I'm getting best of both worlds -- refinement and zip. Happy, for the moment.

I hate to break it to you Stephen, but you can't believe anything this guy says. I mean... just look at his gas cap! That'll tell you everything you need to know.

Just kidding. You got a great deal on that module, and from a relatively trustworthy guy. I know you're gonna love the extra power.

I got Vinnie mixed up with another member that had the problem. I'm gonna play my "Senior Moment" card on that one.
