eaton m45 supercharger

I've got too much time on my hands. I did a bit of search on the SC on our Mini to find some performance data. I have alluded to that our SC Mini is very fuel inefficient before, because it takes 10s of HP to spin the SC and in return, most of us get back just 10s of HP. So here are three graphs of the Eaton M45 supercharger. Anything concerning fluid dynamics and thermodynamics are no walk in the park for layman. So for what these are worth here they are:

power requires to spin the SC hog:

delta T through the SC hog's breathing system:

lung capacity of the SC hog:

None of these graphs depicts increase boost with a reduction pulley.

Yep the Gen1 pays for boost with lower gas mileage. It is what it is but those 10s of horsepower sure feel good.

Notwithstand the fuel inefficiency and it having the aerodynamic of a flying pig, I love my little hog. I heap gifts and spray perfume onto my little piggy.
