Manic Stage 2 Cold Start

I've been trying to find where I thought I read this before but I thought the Manic tunes omitted the SAI for the loud cold starts, was that false? Its starting to drop into the 30's in the am here so this is why I'm asking because these are real Cold starts now and I noticed my exhaust was much more rowdy this am and then calmed to a nice idle. I'm 100% sure my Neighbors loved it.

I thought delete of cold start routine was an option on the Manic tunes... I have a Manic stage 2 and my car does the same. It only lasts about 30 seconds or so.

HMMM...maybe it was an option then. I know the tune on my old MKV R32 turned the SAI pump off and was included, so I wasn't sure if it was the same. I still have the stock mufflers (catless DP and Resonator 2nd cat delete)and its pretty loud on cold start lol, but they should've been used to my practically straight piped R32 by now LMAO.

Yeah, it can be a little loud in the morning

Mine still has the stock cat back, but I have added a cat-less down pipe.

3" exhaust, no cat, no resonator and no CS delete. Makes a happy sound in the morning

What's the point of having a CS delete apart from not having the noise?

The CS subroutine in the ECU is there primarily for cat pre-heat so it begins working sooner. In other words to lower emissions. Without a cat there’s nothing to heat so it can be removed. I elected not to have the CS delete since I plan on porting the head. If you go with an aggressive port the cold start idle can be a little rough till it warms up. My warm idle is also raised to 900 rpm. Just makes for a smoother idle all around.
