Milltek catless DP on stock exhaust?

Having the oil filter housing and cooler gaskets done as well as drive belts and water pump done at an Indy shop.

Since it's out they can replace the stock dp with a catless Milltek for $260 if I want.

Anyone know how it sounds with a stock S Clubman exhaust? Drone? Loud? Any gains at all?

I had this on my countryman. Pops were a little more noticeable but overall little change in exhaust note. The big change happens with the 2nd cat and resonator. Turbo will spool a bit quicker with a catless DP.

Catless downpipe and stock exhaust sound great. No drone or boom from free flow mufflers.

I have a Way Motors cat-less downpipe. Sounds fantastic with the stock zclubman exhaust.

It actually sounds really good I've run it stock exh and now also run a catless with the milltek on my R55 and love it. We got the downpipes in stock if you need one.

Update. I love the sound. A little throatier but no drone or pops or anything.

Car feels a little quicker, but that may be a placebo effect.
