aluminum coolant surge tank

Any of you replaced your stock plastic coolant surge tank with one of the Chinese aluminum tanks? My cap is missing and I can't find a cap that will fit, so instead of buying another plastic tank, I'm thinking aluminum would be better.

Me and my buddy replaced ours last year. Easy job made easier with a friend and some good beer. Don't know it's origin, Chinese or Icelandic, but ebay was our source at around $90.00 and the OE cap fit just fine.
We used a baster to remove the coolant and kept it in a clean jar. The clamps need care in removal and can be reused, loosen them and slide them down the hose so you can slide them back up to re-attach. Dampen your finger with coolant to lube the posts to help slide the hoses back on.
