I did mine on my countryman about 3 months ago. First tip, patience! Getting all the heat shield bolts out is time consuming with hand tools. After you get the heat shield off, spray the DP studs and the exhaust clamp with PB Blaster to help loosen it all up. I sprayed mine twice in advance and everything came off nicely. When removing the DP studs, if the entire stud doesn't come out, and just the nut comes off, take the whole stud out. It makes it easier to remove the DP as there is limited space to wiggle it around. I only removed the bottom 3 bolts on the DP heatshield and managed to wiggle it down toward the bottom of the car with a little muscle. Putting the new DP on is easier as it is much smaller in diameter and slide right up through the lower heatshield. Good luck, just be patient!

I usually remove the heat shield but leave one top 10mm bolt on driver side of the heat shield on. Use PB sprays to help with bolts and studs. You can also loosen the brackets that hold the DP on on the bottom 13mm nuts. If you have AWD, loosen the exhaust pipe to give you more room.
I also use this bolt and nuts to expand the clamp off and on where the DP marries the exhaust

I think it was 2 hours start to finish with hand tools. Having to take my DP off about a month ago, I had it off in about 30 minutes. Open the hood, get under the car and take a look around and get acquainted with what is there. Its easier once you have a gameplan.

Buy a new V band clamp and gasket for the DP>catback connection. Re-using the old one is do-able but a huge pain in the ****.

It's done! I have a video but it could be better. I changed the gasket but just had a problem with my exhaust. I had to have 2 friends push the tips forward so it would come closer to the downpipe. Other than that it took me and a buddy about 3 and a half hours because of heat shields and having to find a 2x4 to lift the car safely. Absolutely love the exhaust noise! It's quiet until 2300-2500 and then after that it has a loud deep tone. Just gonna see if I get a check engine and if i do I'm going to get a 90° bend adapter to put on. Thank you again for anyone who commented on this to help it truly did.

Video or it never happened! Would love to hear your opinion of the sound at highway speed, around 65-75mph? I do a lot of highway driving and this is my main area of concern.
