I've searched a little bit and can't really get a clear answer to my question.

If I get the wmw tuning module, do I need to have wmw tune it or will my local tuning shop be able to tune it? They are a well known shop here in upstate NY

They've tuned many cars in my area, they told me I would need something like an access port for my car or some type of software, would this work? Or am I looking at the bytronik?
