Pulling The Engine

Ok guys, so the plan is to pull the engine myself to try to figure out this low compression issue and misfire code I have been getting. While the engine is pulled, I would like to go ahead and rebuild it, I.e. all the seals and gaskets and what not. Also would like to find some legit forged internals. Basically, I want to be able to replace my stock internals with some that can with stand up to 300hp, preferably with some comfortable play room of 100hp.

I have seen some forged pistons and rods but not as a kit, and only on one site, I believe that is in the UK, shipping is only like $70 to the US, but I would like to see if there is basically an entire kit.

Any help or direction pointed would be nice.

What I think I need and want to replace while the engine is pulled is:
1. Clutch
2. Pistons
3. Connecting Rods
4. Rod Bearings
5. Main Bearings
6. All gaskets and seals/rings
7. Timing chain
8. New Head Studs
9. Camshaft

Please, anything else that should be updated or done during the engine pull? I know this will be a TON of money, But i need to make sure I get the most out of the pull. I don't wanna have to do this again.

If you guys could point me in the direction of the BEST quality parts and performance for each of these that would be great, I have never worked on or built a mini, so i have no idea what is "good" and what is just an overpriced paper weight.

Basically after this install, in a year or two, I would like to be able to throw the GT28RS on and never have to worry about my internals again. I want the car at no less than 300hp. My goal.

Thanks guys in advance!

$6500 for a rebuilt engine, when I can spend half that and replace parts with others that are 10x's more reliable.

My MCS rebuild is almost done (engine going in late this week or early next). Forged internals (9.5 comp, 77.5mm CP Pistons, Carillo rods, WMW cams, port/polish/etc.). Looking to hold tight at 24 psi or higher.

Since I went with a larger bore, I had to reorder pistons, so I'll have a set of 9.5 comp, 77mm CP pistons, new in the box, for sale in the forum in a week or so.
