I came across this dyno graph on stratmosphere.com. How accurate is it you guys think? Are gains like this possible for such little money?

With my BMW $500 will barely gain you five horsepower.

The Dave,

This is another example of inflated dyno's that we see on manufacturer's sites. The pully graph is a stretch, but is not necessarily way off. Increases of 15hp - 18hp is common. They are showing slightly higher, but not way off. But 12hp at the wheels for an intake! No way. And definitely 11 ft-lbs of torque is way off.

If the intake is great, maybe you'll see 3HP. Don't forget with the pulley that you still have to install it!

Spend $400 and get a pulley installed by an expert. You'll get close to half of that 36hp/34torque and it'll really change the way this car responds. Save your money on the intake.
