Barber Design Intake

I saw this post posted a long while ago and was wondering if anyone ever tried it out? Sounds promising in that its one full tub straight to the turbo. If you're doing a down pipe it would be the perfect time to install it.

Hot engine compartment air is always a consideration.

$575 for aluminum tubing and a filter seems to be a little lofty.
