SoCal shop?

I live in the Irvine area and am looking for a good shop to install a pulley and possibly the Dinan intake. Any suggestions? I would rather not drive all the way to the LA area for Steve's Auto Clinic. Has anybody heard anything about Bullet Performance Engineering in Costa Mesa? Are there any pulley parties planned for this area? Thanks in advance!

Thanks guys. How much does he charge for a pulley installation, and how long does it usually take him? Is he open on weekends? Bullet charges and 3 -4 hours for the installation. The labor is $90 per hour.

Sheesh, Greg! Randy Webb can install a pulley in less than an hour! (And I believe he did a pulley party at Steve's earlier this year.) That's a very pricey estimate! RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

Call Steve's and ask for a price on the pulley install.

The price at Steves is pretty much the industry standard of 400 complete , Alta pulley included of course.

Pulley

I live in Irvine & have made the trip to Steve's 2x now... once for a pulley party (Randy Webb installed my pulley in about 1 hr), 2nd for exhaust, suspension, short shifter, etc. Steve is awesome. Very knowledgable & a Mini owner/driver himself.

The next Pulley Party is there, the weekend of Oct 23/24. If you can wait til then, I highly recommend it. I'll be there getting more goodies installed.

Take a look at the schedule in the Garage over on www.webbmotorsports.com . You can sign up there with requests for parts, etc. No prepayment is needed - but if you don't show I break your knee caps .

I also charge $400 labor and parts out the door - no tax or shipping. Steve is a great guy, and the only shop in the area I recommend.

Hope that helps!

Randy

Thanks Randy,

That answered all my questions - Not sure if I can make it to this coming month's party, but I'll definitely give Steve a call in the near future for an installation espically since you recommend him highly.
