Your best bet is to go over to Randy's site and do a search under "UNIchip" in either the performance modification forum :

or in the customers cars and comments forum:

I believe I have one of the first, if not the first, UNIchips installed on a JCW car. Luckily, I have had no issues with it whatsoever. (From what I have read, others have not been so fortunate ... but I understand that a new wiring harness has solved most, if not all, of the reported problems.) All in all, I have to admit that I am satisfied with it and the perceived performance increases. I use a semi-custom "B" map known as the "Spike" map with 100 octane racing fuel.
Pros: Two (2) seperate maps that can be customized based upon other performance parts/components that have been added to your car (at additional cost); easily installed and removed; potential for future performance developments, (i.e., controlling a water mist system).
Cons: Expensive; developmental bugs in early units (hopefully all sorted out now); may interfere with the use of a strut brace; custom maps must done (at extra cost) at a UNIchip authorized dyno facility (and I doubt that there are any in Mexico).
In terms of "bang-for-the-buck" (or in your case, the peso) you may want to investigate the MTH chiptuning solution or even possibly the long-awaited GIAC, along with a reduction pulley.
